    • In a ceremony that was boycotted by most Western dignitaries, Russian Pres. Vladimir Putin was re-sworn in as the Russian leader for a fifth term in Moscow on Tuesday.

    • After making the walk through the Grand Kremlin Palace to the St. Andrew's Throne Hall, Putin took the oath of office and will now embark on a new six-year term.
