Rawan Osman is a Syrian-born German political activist and self-described Arab Zionist who, after being raised in Syria and Lebanon with strong antisemitic narratives, transformed her worldview through personal encounters and academic study of Jewish history—going on to found Arabs Ask, a platform challenging misconceptions about Judaism and Israel in the Arab world.vIn 2025, she spoke before the United Nations Human Rights Council and began the process of converting to Judaism while continuing her advocacy for peace, normalization, and confronting antisemitism across Middle Eastern and diaspora communities.
