Ro Khanna

Ro Khanna is an American lawyer and Democratic U.S. Representative for California’s 17th District, serving Silicon Valley since 2017 after defeating longstanding incumbent Mike Honda. A self-described "progressive capitalist," he previously served under President Obama as Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of Commerce, teaches economics and law, and champions economic patriotism, manufacturing revival, and campaign finance reform with strict no‑PAC contributions.
