Kristian Niemietz

Dr. Kristian Niemietz is the Editorial Director and Head of Political Economy at the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA), a London-based free market think tank. He holds a PhD in Political Economy from King’s College London and an MSc in Economics from Humboldt University Berlin. Niemietz has authored several books, including Socialism: The Failed Idea That Never Dies and Imperial Measurement, and has contributed to various publications such as The Independent, The Telegraph, and Newsweek Europe.
