Amr Hamzawy

Amr Hamzawy is an Egyptian political scientist and former member of Egypt's parliament who specializes in Middle Eastern politics, democratization, and political reform in Arab countries. He is a senior fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and director of the Carnegie Middle East Program, known for his extensive scholarship on Egyptian politics and civil-military relations.
