Newark Mayor Ras Baraka was arrested outside Delaney Hall ICE detention center in Newark on Friday, during an unannounced congressional oversight visit by Representatives Bonnie Watson Coleman, LaMonica McIver, and Rob Menendez to the recently opened 1,000-bed facility.
