Edmundo González Urrutia is a former Venezuelan diplomat who ran against Nicolás Maduro in the 2024 presidential election, being recognized by several countries such as Argentina, Costa Rica, Uruguay and the U.S., under the Biden administration, recognized as Venezuela's president-elect.
