Liz Highleyman is a San Francisco-based freelance medical journalist and editor specializing in HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, and other infectious diseases. She has written extensively for publications including POZ Magazine, Cancer Health, and Hepatitis Magazine, and serves as editor-at-large for HIV treatment advocacy organization Treatment Action Group.
