Office of The Director of Public Prosecutions

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) is Kenya's constitutional independent prosecutorial authority established under Article 157 of the 2010 Constitution, responsible for directing criminal prosecutions and protecting the public interest. The office exercises state powers of prosecution with oversight over investigative bodies including the Kenya Police Service and other law enforcement agencies.
