Patrick J. Schiltz is an American federal judge serving as chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, a role he assumed July 1, 2022 after joining the court in 2006 following nomination by President George W Bush. Born July 6, 1960 in Duluth Minnesota, he previously practiced law and taught law at Notre Dame and St Thomas.
