Abbott Michigan Plant Resumes Formula Production Again

Abbott Nutrition's Michigan plant reopened on July 1 and restarted production of its specialty baby formula, EleClare, after a three-week shutdown caused by flooding from storms.
A previous closure in Feb. due to an FDA inspection that found multiple issues potentially leading to the spread of bacteria exacerbated a nationwide formula shortage.
