The Transportation Security Administration is set to extend mask mandates on airplanes and public transportation for at least another month, following CDC guidance.
The order has been in place since February 2021 and has been extended multiple times.

Right narrative
This is completely unnecessary, as COVID cases are continuing to drop. It just shows the hypocrisy of Biden, who gave his State of the Union address without a mask, yet believes he can force ordinary Americans to follow pointless and unscientific rules.
Left narrative
It's overall a better policy to keep the mandate in place, as it may still be too soon to lift it. Though COVID cases have plummeted, there's always the risk that they could trend back up unexpectedly. The mandate keeps people safe as we weather the last of the storm.
