Biden announced that American airspace will be closed to Russian aircrafts, following bans by Canada and the European Union.

Democratic narrative
Biden projected strength and unity during his first SOTU, in stark contrast to his predecessor, Donald Trump. Instead of bashing NATO and other crucial allies, Biden has clearly shown that the US can be a solid partner in the global struggle for democracy against autocracy.
Republican narrative
Biden attempted to project strength, but his weakness and continued blunders are holding America back. He couldn't even say "Ukrainians'' without mistakenly saying "Iranians." Additionally, there was no mention of Afghanistan, Syria, or other countries in which one would expect the US to have an interest.
