UK's Boris Johnson loses 4 senior aides amid Partygate scandal
FOX NewsJul 28, 2022
UK PM Boris Johnson has announced two new staff appointments.
Cabinet Office minister Steve Barclay will serve as chief of staff, while Guto Harri - a former BBC correspondent and adviser to Johnson during his mayorship - will become director of communications.
The resignations -- Mirza's in particular -- are a final damning blow to a PM already flailing as he faces scandal after scandal. Borris is quickly running out of people to betray.
This is a much needed clearout of Downing Street following Sue Gray's Partygate report, in a desperate bid for Johnson to hold on to his premiership.
