British PM Boris Johnson traveled to Kyiv on Sat. to meet with Ukrainian Pres. Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in a show of "solidarity with the Ukrainian people." Austrian Chan. Karl Nehammer also met with the Ukrainian president.
Meanwhile, Zelenskyy called for a "firm, global response" in his nightly address on Fri., after Russia was accused of striking a train station packed with civilians in Kramatorsk, a city in the Donetsk Oblast of eastern Ukraine. The region's governor says 5 children were among 52 people killed in the attack.

This invasion is an egregious violation of international law. Putin's ultimate aim is to restore the Soviet empire, even if it takes massive bloodshed and false pretexts such as calling the 2014 Ukrainian revolution after a fraudulent election a "coup".
