Federal prosecutor Eun Young Choi has been named head of the DOJ's National Cryptocurrency Enforcement Team, established by Deputy AG Lisa Monaco late last year.
By hiring cyber sleuths, the FBI will be able to apply the tried and true law enforcement strategy of following the money even as criminals shift their work to the anonymous and decentralized currencies run on blockchain technology.
