LA DA George Gascón is being criticized for a blanket ban on trying juveniles as adults.
26-year-old trans woman Hannah Tubbs will likely only face a short stint in a juvenile hall or probation for sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl two weeks before turning 18.
This is a complicated case due to the gap between the offence and prosecution. Tubbs' gender identity puts her at risk of victimization in an adult facility.
Gascón's woke agenda denies victims the justice they deserve and prioritizes the safety of criminals over that of the children they target, simply because of their gender identity.
