On Thu., Donald Trump accused Piers Morgan of doctoring a released teaser that shows the former president allegedly storming out of an interview after the two clashed over the validity of the 2020 Presidential Election.
This comes as Morgan posted a clip of the interview on Wed. to promote his new show "Piers Morgan Uncensored" on the Rupert Murdoch-owned show TalkTV.
Morgan's edited clip and ensuing buzz is conveniently a favor to Trump. As always, the former president thrives on confrontation. His goal is to be relevant and portray himself as the victim, and that's exactly what the released footage does.
While it's not surprising that someone like Piers Morgan would twist reality for his own benefit, it is absurd that News Corp. would seemingly help burn a bridge with Trump over a cheap stunt - especially for someone like Piers Morgan.
