Donald Trump labeled Sen. Graham a RINO for suggesting pardoning Jan. 6 rioters would be inappropriate.
Pro-Trump supporters stormed the Capitol to disrupt the electoral college vote in 2021. Over 700 people have been charged by the DOJ since the event.
Even members of the GOP believe those involved must be held accountable. Pardoning these rioters would undermine the rule of law.
Trump's comments have elicited support. The treatment of these defendants (including 81 current or former service members) is unjust compared to the lenient treatment of many violent criminals.
