San Francisco voters recall three school board members after year of intense controversy
CBSNov 13, 2021
San Francisco voters overwhelmingly recalled 3 members of the city's seven-person school board, accused of putting progressive politics ahead of popular policy.
President Gabriela Lopez, vice president Faauuga Moliga and commissioner Alison Collins were ousted from the all-Democrat board, the only 3 eligible to be recalled.
Parents and residents have pushed back against the enforcement of leftist ideology in their school system, with at least 70% of voters supporting the removal of each candidate.
This is a sign that the left needs to keep fighting for what matters most. Liberals and progressives need to do a better job sticking together to execute their policies and consider affected citizens.
