    The Spin

    Democratic narrative

Climate change is an existential threat to the planet, and that's why the Biden admin. has started a series of well-funded actions to combat heat-related illness and protect homes, infrastructure, and public health, especially in the country's most vulnerable communities.

    Republican narrative

More government spending on climate change is not the answer to the most burning crisis: inflation. The sum total of the broad-scale Biden climate agenda will just drive up the taxes of hard-working Americans and make inflation worse. Federal spending must be closely monitored and approached prudently.

    Nerd narrative

There's a 23% chance that there will be a 3.6 degrees celsius increase in global warming by 2100, according to the Metaculus prediction community.
