On Tues., officials reported that firefighters were able to make significant gains on the California "Oak Fire" and bring it to 26% containment.
More than 3K firefighters have fought the explosive fire that began on Fri. southwest of Yosemite National Park.
This inferno near Yosemite is just the latest example of the increasing urgency of climate change. Ever-growing temperatures are putting the very survival of our civilization at stake - this should be a moment for a global epiphany and we must stop heat-trapping emissions.
Promoting alarmist and dark climate fantasies is counterproductive and dangerous. The narratives of radical environmental movements are becoming much graver, more apocalyptic, and have lost connections to reality. A life devoid of fossil fuels would be a life of suffering for much of humanity.
