Secretary of State Antony Blinken has warned that while Washington doesn't seek conflict with Iran, it will not hesitate to respond in the event of attacks on US troops in the Middle East.
Addressing the UN Security Council on Tuesday, Blinken warned Tehran that the US would defend itself "swiftly and decisively" should "Iran or its proxies attack US personnel anywhere."
