Canadian PM Justin Trudeau and his wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, announced on Wednesday that they would be separating after 18 years of marriage.
Trudeau, 51, and Grégoire Trudeau, 48, were married in May 2005 and have three children, aged 15, 14, and nine. The couple has asked for privacy out of respect for their children's well-being.
