An arrest has been made in the fatal San Francisco stabbing of tech executive and Cash App founder Bob Lee, as tech entrepreneur Nima Momeni was booked and charged with murder, according to San Francisco DA Brooke Jenkins.
Police initially said the attack was part of a random mugging, but Police Chief William Scott confirmed that Lee and Momeni knew each other. Police say Momeni was driving through the city with Lee, and a confrontation led Lee to exit the vehicle.
Bob Lee’s tragic death is a sobering reminder of the crime catastrophe in San Francisco.
