On Wednesday, US Dept. of Justice special counsel David Weiss filed a status report signaling the planned indictment for Hunter Biden, the son of US Pres. Joe Biden, which has a Sept. 29 deadline.
Weiss, who was appointed as special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden by US Attorney General Merrick Garland, stated in the court filing to US District Judge Maryellen Noreika that the grand jury indictment would be sought under the Speedy Trial Act.
