The Spin

Left narrative

July 2023 is on the verge of breaking heat records globally and surpassing June as the hottest month on record, which depending on the source, spans back to four and eight decades — or even 125K years. While El Niño partially contributes to this trend, it's humans who are essentially driving global temperatures up through fossil fuel and carbon emissions. Without dramatic changes, the heat will only intensify.

Right narrative

It's summer season in the Northern Hemisphere, and it's hot, exactly as it should be. Yet, liberal global warming alarmists are now weaponizing high temperatures by absurdly claiming that Earth is at the hottest point in human history and focusing on places that have always been hot, such as Death Valley and Phoenix.
