Judge Dismisses Musk's Suit Against Nonprofit
The Facts
Elon Musk-owned X's (formerly Twitter), lawsuit against the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), a nonprofit studying online hate speech, Monday was dismissed by a federal judge who ruled the suit was an attempt to silence a group that was speaking negatively about the platform.
X filed the suit in California in July 2023 after the CCDH published several articles claiming Musk's takeover of X was followed by an increase of hate speech on the platform.
