The Spin

Pro-establishment narrative

Iran's Revolutionary Guard orchestrated a serious terrorist plot to assassinate Israel's ambassador to Mexico, part of its broader campaign targeting Israeli and Jewish interests globally. Thankfully, Mexican security forces were able to thwart the attack, yet again exposing Iran's policy of using murder and terrorism to damage the West, particularly in Latin America, where it teams up with fellow tyrannical regimes like Venezuela.

Establishment-critical narrative

Besides the fact that Iran denies these baseless allegations, which were designed to damage friendly Iran-Mexico relations, Mexico's own Foreign Ministry confirmed no attack occurred and no security operation was needed. This is yet another example of Western governments and media using unnamed sources to project Israeli crimes onto others, as Israel is the world's leader in assassinating political leaders and journalists.
