The Netherlands will hold snap elections on Oct. 29, after Interior Minister Judith Uitermark officially announced the date on Friday, following the collapse of Prime Minister Dick Schoof's four-party coalition government when far-right leader Geert Wilders withdrew his Party for Freedom from the ruling alliance.
