The Spin

Pro-government narrative

The previous government did commendable work in service to Sudan, most notably in prosecuting the ongoing war against the rebel RSF, but for the country to move forward, radical policy is required. Dissolving the government is the necessary catalyst for such a change, leading to a new administration taking form that will win the peace as well as the war.

Opposition narrative

The latest announcements from the SAF concerning Idris are just a façade to mask the true intentions of the Port Sudan clique. Regardless of what puppet they install, al-Burhan will always remain in charge. And despite the promises they made, the SAF would rule Sudan with an iron fist. The SAF is concerned solely with retaining its power and wealth and nothing more.
