Version 7.18.3
Dragging a survivor's estranged mother into an attack ad is about as low as campaigning gets, and Ohio voters were right to slam the door on it. A candidate willing to weaponize childhood trauma for votes shows exactly the kind of judgment that has no business near a governor's office. Common decency won, and that's worth celebrating.
Ohio just traded functional, merit-based governance for a warmed-over socialist wish list, and the bill always comes due. Bigger promises mean bigger tax burdens, and the voters who bought the pitch will be the ones paying for it. No candidate can rescue an electorate determined to trade independence for dependency.
