The Facts

  • U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham won South Carolina's Republican Senate primary Tuesday, securing more than 57% of the vote against five challengers and avoiding a runoff. He will face Democratic pediatrician Annie Andrews in the November general election.
  • Graham and his allied groups spent more than $18 million on television and digital ads since January 2025, according to media tracking firm AdImpact. His campaign alone spent over $13 million on ads during the primary race.
  • Graham had President Donald Trump's endorsement since early in the race. Trump congratulated Graham on the win, noting that the senator received "almost 60% of the vote against a large field of very capable candidates."

The Spin

Narrative A

Graham has spent decades in the swamp pushing establishment foreign policy. Graham's conservative voting record is abysmal, and his flip-flopping from calling Trump a "kook" to playing loyal ally proves he stands for nothing but his own political survival. South Carolina deserves a senator who actually puts America first.

Narrative B

Graham's primary win proves South Carolina knows exactly who delivers results. Graham is a reliable vote for Trump's agenda and understands real national security threats, making him far more effective than any Tucker Carlson-backed challenger. The Save America Act needs champions in the Senate, and Graham is ready to fight for it.
