The Spin

Anti-Trump narrative

Trump's NBC meltdown exposed exactly what happens when a president can't handle basic follow-up questions. Repeating debunked 2020 election claims, defending Jan. 6 rioters with zero evidence, and calling a journalist "crooked or stupid" isn't strength, it's a refusal to be held accountable. A president has no business dodging tough questions.

Pro-Trump narrative

Trump gave Welker nearly an hour in difficult conditions and still fielded every question thrown at him before ending an interview that had turned into a one-sided interrogation. Pushing back against a network with a clear agenda isn't a meltdown, it's exactly what voters want from a president who refuses to be steamrolled. A dishonest press doesn't deserve endless access.
