Version 7.17.1
An airline that lets a man already sidelined elsewhere for radical views climb into the cockpit of its most sensitive route has a screening problem. The pattern looks less like sloppy paperwork and more like a deliberate effort to place him on that exact flight. Accountability has to start with whoever waved this through, because the same lax vetting is enabling the next attack right now.
The real scandal here is a serious Israeli aviation-security failure that let a flagged pilot slip through. The passengers survived through extraordinary courage. The security failures that preceded the attack demand equally extraordinary scrutiny. Fixing cross-border screening and information sharing between countries and carriers would do far more good than chasing conspiracy theories.
