Vance walked into The View and handled every curveball thrown at him with total composure, even when attacked with the age-old liberal racism accusations. On the economy, he also laid out real data — wages rising faster than in 2022, rents flat or down for 12 months — and the hosts had no real counter. Even Joy Behar admitted off-air that he's "fine," and floated him as a serious 2028 contender against Gavin Newsom.
Democratic narrative
Vance exposed just how hollow his talking points are. He denied Trump ever called affordability a hoax despite a clear record, fumbled questions about Black history being erased from public spaces and couldn't back up claims about South American governments releasing criminals. When cornered, he fell back on selling his book — hardly the performance of someone ready for prime time.
