Bates Gill

Bates Gill is an American political scientist and China expert, specializing in international and security studies. He serves as Executive Director of the Asia Society Policy Institute’s Center for China Analysis and has held leadership roles at prominent research institutions, including the Brookings Institution and SIPRI. Gill is a widely published author on U.S.-China relations and global security.
