Don Bacon

Don Bacon is a retired U.S. Air Force Brigadier General and has served as the Republican Representative for Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District since his election in 2016. Known for his centrist approach and military leadership, he has held significant roles on the House Armed Services and Agriculture Committees and recently announced he will not seek re-election in 2026 to spend more time with his family.
