Stephen Leahy is a Canadian environmental journalist and author with over 25 years of experience reporting on global environmental issues. His work has been featured in prominent publications such as National Geographic, The Guardian, Al Jazeera, New Scientist, Maclean’s Magazine, and The Toronto Star . Leahy has authored the award-winning book Your Water Footprint: The Shocking Facts About How Much Water We Use to Make Everyday Products, which won the Best Science Book award in Canada in 2014 . He has also co-founded Climate News Mosaic, a trans-boundary journalism collaboration, and pioneered Community Supported Environmental Journalism to address cuts in environmental news coverage .
