Admiral Lord West
Admiral Lord West of Spithead is a British Labour Peer and a former first sea lord and commander-in-chief of the Royal Navy. He served in the Royal Navy from 1965, commanding 14 ships, and held the position of first sea lord from 2002 to 2006. Lord West later served as parliamentary under-secretary of state for the home office and is currently chancellor of Southampton Solent University.
