The Trump administration announced a $1.6 billion investment package in USA Rare Earth, which includes $277 million in proposed federal funding and a $1.3 billion senior secured loan through the Commerce Department's CHIPS program. In exchange, the government will receive 16.1 million shares of common stock and warrants to purchase an additional 17.6 million shares, both priced at $17.17 per share.
