Alexander Fomin

Alexander Fomin is a Russian colonel general and the current deputy minister of defence. Fomin was promoted to the position in 2017. As a result of his support for the war in Ukraine, Fomin became the target of personal international sanctions, beginning with Australia in February 2022.
