Daniel Shapiro
Daniel B. Shapiro is an American diplomat who served as the United States Ambassador to Israel from 2011 to 2017. He has extensive experience in Middle East affairs, having worked on the National Security Council and as an advisor to President Barack Obama. In 2021, President Joe Biden appointed Shapiro as a special liaison to Israel on Iran1.
