Ruth Porat

Ruth Porat is the President and Chief Investment Officer of Alphabet and Google, overseeing corporate investments, including GV, CapitalG, and the "Other Bets" portfolio, as well as real estate and infrastructure initiatives. Prior to this role, she served as Chief Financial Officer of both companies from 2015 to 2024, following a distinguished career at Morgan Stanley, where she was CFO and played a pivotal role during the 2008 financial crisis.
