Tulsi Gabbard

Tulsi Gabbard is an American politician and military officer who served as the U.S. representative for Hawaii's 2nd congressional district from 2013 to 2021. A lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, she was a candidate in the 2020 Democratic presidential primaries. In 2024, Gabbard joined the Republican Party and was nominated by President Donald Trump to serve as the director of national intelligence.
