DPP U.S. Mission

The DPP U.S. Mission is the Washington, D.C.-based overseas office of Taiwan's Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), a major center-left political party founded in 1986 that has governed Taiwan under presidents Lee Teng-hui, Chen Shui-bian, and Tsai Ing-wen. The mission serves as a liaison between the DPP and U.S. policymakers, think tanks, and the Taiwanese diaspora community, advocating for Taiwan's democratic values and U.S.-Taiwan relations.
