Joachim Nagel

Joachim Nagel is a German economist who has served as President of the Deutsche Bundesbank since January 1, 2022. Prior to this role, he held senior positions at the Bank for International Settlements, KfW Group, and the Bundesbank, and currently serves on the Governing Council of the European Central Bank and the boards of the IMF, BIS, and Financial Stability Board.
