Lori Chavez-DeRemer

Lori Chavez-DeRemer was the U.S. Secretary of Labor under President Donald Trump, appointed in 2025 after serving as a Republican U.S. Representative for Oregon's 5th congressional district from 2023 to 2025. She previously served as mayor of Happy Valley, Oregon, from 2011 to 2019 and is known for her pro-labor stance despite being a Republican.
