Peter Tatchell

Peter Tatchell is an Australian-born British human rights and LGBTQ+ campaigner renowned for co-founding the direct-action group OutRage! in the 1990s and tirelessly advocating for equality and justice across issues including LGBTQ+ rights, anti-apartheid, and free speech. Over more than five decades of activism, he has participated in thousands of protests worldwide, endured numerous violent attacks and arrests, and currently leads the Peter Tatchell Foundation to continue pushing for human rights globally.
