Sergio Moro
Sergio Moro is a Brazilian former federal judge who presided over the Operation Car Wash (Lava Jato) corruption investigation that resulted in the imprisonment of former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and served as Minister of Justice and Public Security under President Jair Bolsonaro from 2019 to 2020. He is currently a federal senator for the state of Paraná, elected in 2022.
